The doctor does injections to correct the hump on the nose with the beauty of the blonde.

Often a person may have a slight irregularity with the shape of their nose or face and would like to alter their nose appearance but are reluctant to undergo surgery. These irregularities can be something you are born with, or due to previous trauma or surgical rhinoplasty.

Ageless Beauty Aesthetics offers a specialised procedure that uses injectable gel-like products (known as Filler) to ‘conceal’ a dorsal hump found on the bridge of the nose, elevate the nose tip, and make other adjustments to improve the appearance of the nasal contour

Non Surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-surgical rhinoplasties are performed in our clinic, as a walk-in walk-out procedure with effectively no down time. You may however experience some minor swelling, with bruising being very infrequent.

This is a very specific process, and fine adjustments can be made to the nasal contour providing an immediate result.

When done by a trained professional, it is safe, effective and can last up to 18 months. Additionally, if for some reason you change your mind after it is done, it is completely reversible!

What are the benefits of non-surgical rhinoplasty?

Non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal fillers offers several benefits over traditional rhinoplasty.

These include:

  • Minimal downtime: Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a quick procedure that can be done in just a few minutes, with no downtime required.

  • Non-invasive: Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, which involves surgery and incisions, non-surgical rhinoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that does not require any incisions or anesthesia.

  • Reversible: Because hyaluronic acid fillers are temporary, the results of non-surgical rhinoplasty are not permanent. If a patient is unhappy with the results, the filler can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase.

  • Customizable: Non-surgical rhinoplasty using fillers allows for precise, targeted injections that can be customized to each patient’s individual needs and desired results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who Is It Suitable For?  If you are dissatisfied with your nose and are unwilling or able to undergo surgery, this is the treatment for you! The Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is an alternative option for those seeking a non-surgical approach to nose reshaping, lifting, sculpting and straightening!  Non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as a non-surgical nose job, is a cosmetic procedure that uses HA fillers to reshape and refine the nose without invasive surgery. By lifting, sculpting and straightening the nose, a non-surgical nose job can create an overall smaller appearance and correct bumps on the nose’s bridge by filling depressed areas. This treatment is an excellent option for those who are dissatisfied with their nose shape but do not wish to undergo invasive surgery. With personalised and precise improvements, the results are natural-looking and visible immediately after the non-surgical rhinoplasty treatment.

How does non-surgical rhinoplasty work? During a non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure, filler is injected into specific areas of the nose to achieve the desired results. The injections are performed using a very fine needle, and a topical numbing cream can be applied to the skin beforehand to minimize any discomfort. The filler is carefully placed to fill in depressions or irregularities in the nose, creating a more even and symmetrical appearance. The procedure typically takes 30-45 minutes to complete, and clients can usually return to their normal activities immediately after the procedure.

Does It Hurt? There’s no need to be nervous: discomfort is typically minimal and brief. We may use a local anaesthetic when required, depending on the area being treated.

How Much Does It Cost? The dose required for nose filler is variable, therefore so is the cost, but the typical procedure would be for 2-3 treatments 1 month minimum apart, to get to the best result. No more than 1 syringe would be used in a treatment for safety reasons.  At your appointment your face and concerns will be assessed, a history will be taken and from this a decision will be made on the best dose for you. If a patient has a history of complications with fillers, previous surgical rhinoplasties, if their budget is small or if they want a more subtle result, then a smaller dose might be chosen to start with.

What Can I Expect After? The effect of the filler will be obvious immediately. There may be bruising, redness and swelling Most of the swelling from the dermal filler will have resolved by 2-3 days after the procedure. There may be a small amount of swelling for even 4 weeks after the procedure. What if I get asymmetry of the shape at some time before the 4 week point? Do I call the clinic? Before 4 weeks, there is no need to call the clinic for shape issues. Sometimes asymmetry will occur because one side is more swollen or bruised. Usually it will right itself by the time of the review appointment. If it doesn’t, then it can be examined at the review appointment at 4 weeks. There is no point in coming in early for treatment of asymmetry as there is often swelling associated and so the final result cannot be seen until at least 4 weeks. Treating asymmetry too early could lead to further asymmetry.

Risks and Potential Side Effects of Non Surgical Rhinoplasty Fillers? - Bruising occurs in a significant number of cases. - Swelling in the injection area will occur. The worst of it will last for approx 48 hours, but there may be a small amount of swelling for up to 4 weeks - Asymmetry: Sometimes one side is better treated than the other, this is more often because the patient is asymmetrical to start with. Sometimes it is due to one side being able to lift more easily than the other - Infection is a very rare complication, but always a possibility when the needle goes into the skin. - Necrosis (blood vessel being blocked, interfering with blood supply to the skin) is very rare. This could lead to scarring. Unfortunately the nose is more susceptible to this complication than other areas on the face eg cheeks and chin. - Blindness is rare but devastating complication - Prolonged redness or facial capillaries in the area after injection: This can be permanent, but may resolves when the filler dissolves. Very uncommon - Need for further treatment: Often with noses, it will take several syringes of product to get to where the patient wants to be.

How Long Between Treatments?  The answer to this is very individual and depends on the patient’s anatomy, metabolism, the dose, the placement, the product etc. Typically with reversible fillers: If the patient is happy with the nose filler results at 1 month (ie there has been adequate fill) they should be treated at 6 months, then at 6 months and then once yearly. If the patient is not satisfied with the results at 1 month (ie more dermal filler is required to obtain the results that they desire), then further dermal filler should be injected every 1-3 months until the desired appearance has been reached, and then the patient should have treatment at 6 months, then 6 months, then once yearly, nose filler can last for years in some patients.

What is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Using Fillers? Non-surgical rhinoplasty, also known as liquid rhinoplasty or injection rhinoplasty, is a minimally invasive procedure that uses HA fillers to reshape the nose. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, which involves surgery and a long recovery period, non-surgical rhinoplasty can be done in just a few minutes with little to no downtime. Fillers are made of HA, a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps to plump and hydrate the skin. When injected into the nose, fillers can help to smooth out bumps and irregularities, enhance the bridge of the nose, and improve the overall shape and symmetry of the nose.

Pre & Post Treatment Care

Pre Treatment Care

  • No blood-thinning medications, including aspirin and Ibuprofen (unless prescribed by your medical practitioner).

  • Come to your appointment with clean skin free of makeup, skincare is fine including SPF.

  • Avoid excessive exercise or strenuous activities on the day of your appointment.

  • Stay hydrated and have a meal leading up to your appointment to reduce feeling light headed or unwell post procedure.

Post Treatment Care

  • No glasses to be worn over the nose for 2 weeks post treatment, this can out pressure on the filler and create imperfections or dents.

  • No pressing, manipulating or rubbing the treatment site for 2 weeks post treatment.

  • Immediately after treatment, you may experience some slight redness, swelling, tenderness or an itching sensation in the treated area. This is a typical result of the injection and generally disappears in a few days. If symptoms persist or other reactions occur, please get in touch with your physician.

  • Immediately after treatment: Remember to keep the treated area clean. You may take over-the-counter pain medications or an antihistamine if you have swelling or the treated area feels tender.

  • After fillers, you should avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat exposure for 24 hours. You should also avoid applying excessive pressure on the treated areas for the first few nights. To avoid putting too much pressure on the treated areas with face fillers, you may wish to try and sleep on your back, if possible. Although you will need to avoid applying pressure to the treated area, you may very gently apply a cold compress to help to reduce swelling or discomfort.

  • Avoid blowing of the nose for 2 weeks post treatment.

  • To promote sufficient healing, you must avoid undergoing additional skin treatments in the treated area, such as waxing, peels or facials, laser and microdermabrasion. Lasers particularly should be avoided for at least six weeks. You may discuss time between other procedures with your cosmetic practitioner.
